We had some downtime while shooting the video for A Tribe Called Death’s “Ray Liotta” remix in SoHo this weekend so a few of the folks who rolled through for the video decided to sit down and kick freestyles for a casual cypher session. Rad Reef fam Deli Mane and FreshGalaxy were joined by Harlem’s own Mummz and Aj Suede along with A Tribe Called Death’s K.E.V.O.R.K.I.A.N.

The group went in on two big commercial beats—”Mercy” (prod. by Lifted) and “Goldie” (prod. by Hit-Boy) —before taking on some FreshGalaxy originals. Some of you may be familiar with Key Nyata’s “ALL BLVCK SPVCE WHIP” but you haven’t heard this version before. We had a truly #rare chance to hear the original, unaltered beat straight off FreshGalaxy’s own iPod. And the final cypher features the unofficial debut of “Bikini Music” off his upcoming album World of Summer 2: 2012.
